Recently, several of the eYouth Project Students headed off to the Microsoft Office in the City to give presentations to three Microsoft staff including Chris who is the Cloud Solution Architect.
There were many nervous students beforehand as we travelled into the city! When it came to showtime, the young people did a great job presenting their topics which ranged from drones, the advancement of game graphics, artificial intelligence in the music industry and how technology will affect our social interactions.
Joe and Jake took us down memory lane looking at the advancement of graphic design during their presentation taking us from Pong in 1972 to 2018. Their presentations created a lot of conversations about different games and what technologies were behind the development of the ever increasing quality of games graphics.
Maddie and Sarah gave a great presentation about technology, that got us thinking about how we may not need to leave our homes in the future? What impact will technology make on our future lives? eg: shopping, doctors and food to your door; highlighting how services might be more accessible in the future.
The eYouth Project Students did great in every presentation, which created a big discussion between the presenters and audience. Mitchell's presentation got us all taking, as he showcased software that you can duet with!
